Christmas has always held a special place in my heart. It’s a season that brings back cherished memories of family, love, and laughter. Decorating the Christmas tree was a beloved tradition in my family, a time filled with storytelling, laughter, and the magic of rediscovering each ornament’s history. Even as life has taken my sister and me in different directions, those moments remain a cornerstone of my happiest memories.

Now, I continue this tradition with my own family. There’s nothing quite like the cozy glow of Christmas lights filling the room—their soft twinkle is my favorite color.

I’ve always loved the nostalgia of Christmases past, especially the simplicity and warmth of the 80s (yes, I’m proudly aging myself!). My passion for preserving that feeling inspired me to create Karen's Christmas Shop. Here, I focus on handmade ornaments that evoke those timeless, heartfelt moments. These ornaments, with their slight imperfections, remind us that it’s those little quirks that make life—and the holidays—so special.
